The second release in the Legacy Series from Torabhaig, Allt Gleann is made up of 30 barrels that were distilled in 2017 and 2018. It first went on sale in August 2021 and sold out immediately, although further batches were released in 2022 and 2023. Palate
Bolder peat, coastal tar, oily texture, roasted nuts, fennel, oily citrus, vanilla biscuits, and a medicinal hint, with thick smoke, briney notes, lemon peels, and a peppery, ashy character.
Finish
Apples, kiwi, vanilla oak, peat smoke, sea breeze, briny notes, orchard fruit, savory peat, sea salt, with a long, hot, chalky note and spiky wood spice.
