It released its first single cask Scotch whiskies later that year and the company also offers a cask share programme as part of its catalogue. Sherry-Aromen und die Süße von Vanille-Plunder mit Rosinen empfangen uns, gefolgt von einer Melange aus Manuka-Honig, Kräutern und blumigen Aromen, die in Orangenmarmelade, getrocknete Feigen und Liebstöckel übergehen, am Ende ein Hauch von Tabak und dunkler Schokolade.
Palate
Weich, ölig, und sehr wärmend, mit der mundfüllenden, fast sirupartigen Süße von Feigenkonfitüre, Rosinen, kandierten Orangen und dunkle Pralines mit Kirschfüllung, im Anschluss etwas karamellisierte Haselnüsse, mexikanische Trinkschokolade mit Chili & Zimt, Tabakblättern und schwarzem Tee.
Finish
recht lang und weiterhin wärmend, mit Gewürzen, Tanninen und etwas Zartbitter-Schokolade, am Ende leicht adstringierend.
