Description

A 17-year-old Van Winkle Family Reserve Kentucky straight bourbon, barreled in 1974 and bottled in 1991 by Van Winkle Distilling Company for the Japanese market. The red-wax release is associated with bourbon sourced from Boone distillery and uses a traditional rye bourbon recipe rather than the later wheated style.
