- Delicious dark chocolate, sun-dried fruits and a tell-tale wisp of Islay smoke. Also fruit & nut chocolate, autumn spices, sandalwood, slight incense note, tar, light peatiness and some sherry notes.
- Palate
- Wonderful cedar wood and rich treacle toffee. Creamy and viscous with raisins, dried apricot, cinnamon, caramel, and a peppery bitterness before the smoke and ash.
- Finish
- Robust and complex finish with a hint of sherry tannin. Medium, with sweetness evaporating, subdued by oak tannins and dryness of smoke.
