Description

Mothballed by previous owners Whyte & Mackay, Bruichladdich distillery was revived in the year 2000 by indy bottler Murray McDavid. This is the very first 10-year-old single malt to be wholly distilled, aged, and bottled following Bruichladdich's resurrection in 2001. It is made from 100% unpeated Scottish barley, trickle distilled and matured for its entire life in premium American oak on Islay.

Smooth and rounded, with sweet orange citrus, candied peel, stone fruits, malt barley sugar, toasted bread, marzipan, coconut, ground almonds, cedar, ripe orchard fruits, and delicate floral notes with a slight salty tang.
Finish
Long and refreshing, with lingering notes of malt sweetness, soft vanilla, delicate coastal minerality, ripe stone fruits, citrus, honeyed sponge, browned butter, and balanced woody spice.
