Nose
Sweet and well-balanced smoke, Vegetal, herbal peat with dark honey and smoked BBQ sauce. Dates, raisins and dried apple with soft spice and earthy undertones.
Palate
More sweet BBQ smoke on the palate with honey, toffee, iodine and salinity. Rich fruit cake and candied red berry fruits mix with building spice. The smoke changes through the palate becoming both slightly ashy but remaining sweet. Maple syrup comes through towards the finish with some dark chocolate and black treacle.
Finish
Black treacle, brown sugar, sweet smoke and gentle baking spices all mix with dried fruit and slowly building sweet oak which eventually takes over with spice at the end.
