Nose
Classic Bruichladdich intrigue with razor sharp DNA. Plum, grapefruit peel, citrus pith, dried tropical fruits (mango and pineapple). Like sticking your nose in a freshly toasted (salted?) barrel. A touch of green – olive oil. There is a little bit of that lovely butyric acid present but you have to go looking for it.
Palate
Big old bag of fruits; melon, passionfruit and peach. A bit of brake dust, toasted seaweed, iodine and custard creams.
Finish
Very long, caramel digestives and limes.
