Description

Bushmills 16 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a well-aged and refined expression from the Old Bushmills Distillery, known for its complexity, smoothness, and balanced palate. It is triple-distilled from 100% malted barley and aged for at least 16 years. The whiskey matures in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, and is then finished for several months in port wine pipes, a unique '3-wood whiskey' process that imparts distinct notes of juicy fruits, nuts, and spice, as well as a hint of ruby redness.
