Description

A Craigellachie 2011 14-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released by indie bottlers Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers in 2026 as part of their Carn Mor Strictly Limited range. This 14-year-old Craigellachie 2011 matured in Fino Sherry casks and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration in an edition of just 368 bottles at a sturdy drinking strength of 47.5%. The Speyside malt was matured in Fino sherry casks, bringing structure and dryness rather than sweetness. Craigellachie is celebrated for producing a muscular, characterful malt, often described as meaty or sulphury in its traditional form. Here, the Fino sherry maturation refines that core profile rather than masking it, adding elegance and lift while retaining the distillery's unmistakable backbone.
