Description

* A malt distillery in Speyside that predominantly provides fillings for the blended Scotch brands in the Diageo portfolio. As such, the only permanent official bottling is the 16-year-old from the Flora & Fauna collection and its single malt is more often found bottled independently.

Strong malt notes open the bouquet and combine harmoniously with sweet honey, caramel and the scent of baked apples. Soft vanilla and a fine oak spice provide depth. With a little time in the glass, additional nuances of toffee, roasted almonds and a hint of beeswax unfold.
Palate
Full-bodied, oily and powerful – sweet malt, creamy vanilla and delicate caramel form the soft base. Spicy oak, a hint of cinnamon and subtle dried fruits set accents. The cask strength intensifies the mouthfeel and impressively underlines the distinctive character of Dailuaine.
Finish
Long-lasting and pleasantly warming. Honey, fine spices and sweet malt linger, accompanied by an elegant, dry woody note that gently fades away.
