Big, sweet and fruity with notes of cherries, cranberries, gooseberries, dates, almond croissants, orange zest, pralines, and traces of oak and tobacco. It also presents black fruits, Ribena, chocolate, resin, wood oils, and sandalwood. [2, 5, 16, 18, 22]
Palate
Rich, creamy, and complex with oak tones, red fruit, cherry tart, orange marmalade, prunes, marzipan, nutmeg, cloves, Victoria plums, dark cacao, and Maraschino cherries. Hints of Colombian coffee and a dusty quality are also present. [2, 5, 16, 18, 22]
Finish
Long, sweet, and savoury, with a delicate oaky dryness. Notes of tea leaf, blood orange, moist ginger cake, liquorice, and sugared almonds. [2, 16, 18, 22]
