Dalwhinnie 1991 Distillers Edition D.SQ. is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highland region, part of Diageo's Classic Malts of Scotland collection. Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2009, this 18-year-old expression is double matured, initially in Bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks, adding sweetness and complexity to Dalwhinnie's characteristic heathery, honeyed profile. It is a limited edition release.

Palate
A big, spicy buzz with well-defined malt, a quick burst of sweetness, rich and grapey, with notes of lemon, caramel, light raspberry, nutmeg, cashew, and papaya.
Finish
Very dry with vanilla dominating, ginger, leather, gum, papaya, oregano, arugula, and a tiny bit of spice, fruit, and vegetal notes.
