Description

The Deanston Chronicles Edition 3 is a limited-edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at 52.8% ABV. It is a distillery exclusive release, comprising a marriage of four contrasting casks from four different decades: a 1974 Canasta Cask, a 1993 Manzanilla Cask, a 2002 French PX Cask, and a 2013 Rum Cask. This release consists of 2400 bottles.

Nose
Sun dried grapes, figs and caramel are beautifully balanced with notes of vanilla, oak spice and marzipan. Also tangerine and fruity sweet notes.
Palate
Sweet and rich with toffee and raisins leading the way, followed by complex layers of dried fruit, spice, roasted nuts and crisp green apple with a hint of sea spray. Creamy texture with caramel, baked apple, sweet wood, and delicate spice.
Finish
Lingering finish with subtle notes of saline, almond and herbs. Long, soft and elegant with fine hints of toffee and almonds, dark chocolate, herbal liqueur, and some cocoa.
