Description
Deanston is housed in a former cotton mill on the banks of the fast-flowing River Teith, in the central Highlands that dates back to the late eighteenth century. The buildings were converted into a distillery in 1966. It was acquired by Invergordon in 1972, but ceased production in 1982 and was mothballed until 1990. Deanston is now operated by Distell. This Deanston The Union Exclusive was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2020, having matured for around seven years. It was finished in organic Fino Sherry casks and was originally intended for members of 'The Union' fan club.
