- Nose
- Intense peat smoke and ripe fruit aromas in wonderful harmony; sweet, charred, fruity, peated, industrial, dirty. Roasted pork by the embers soaked in soy sauce; unapologetically intense, surprisingly clean, and aggressively sweet berry jam; planky sawdust. Ballechin's funkiness with gasoline, dirty soil, and industrial minerality. Hints of salty, buttery, and metallic notes.
- Palate
- Mouth-filling and strong in taste. Red fruits mixed with bonfire smoke. Plums and spicy notes, oak wood, juicy raisins and roasted and salted pistachios. Wet, one-dimensional wood, BBQ sauce, engine oil, damp forestry, earthy peat, industrial funk with a metallic edge, hints of licorice, burnt rubber, and chemical notes.
- Finish
- Long with lots of peat and spicy wood. Charred, carbonized oak. More red fruits, more dirty peat, more ash. Intense, fresh, ashy, and ember-y. Sweet fruits recede a bit.
