Description

The Glasgow 1770 Tokaji Cask Finish (Peated) is a limited edition single malt whisky from The Glasgow Distillery. Distilled on 14 March 2018, it was initially matured in virgin American white oak for two years and eight months before undergoing a further two years and eight months of finishing in Hungarian Tokaji Casks. Bottled on 27 July 2023 at 53.4% ABV, this release comprises 615 bottles and marks the first time Glasgow 1770's peated spirit has been used with Tokaji casks.

Rich BBQ smoke, dark fruits, and spice, with notes of salted peanuts, stone fruit, brownie mix, orange rind, charred pineapple, custard, and Frazzles. It offers a rich, thick, and creamy mouthfeel with honey, sweet bright fruits, and honeyed vanilla, along with an orange peel quality married with a warm vanilla pod shake.
