Description

Decadent Drinks are a very well-known Independent Bottler in the whisky world. They came about due to the experimental works with independent bottlings which got out of hand, resulting in them now becoming an incredibly busy, popular company! They have collaborated with Whisky Sponge in order to provide their fans with some spectacular bottlings. This 24 year old Glen Grant was matured in a multi-vintage small batch edition created by mixing a 1995 refill barrel with a 1997 refill hogshead. It was bottled at natural cask strength of 49.8% and yielded just 443 bottles.

Nose
Fresh and mature with barley, apples, bright cereals, and orchard fruits. Subtle waxiness, mineral oils, shoe polish, light peppery warmth, chalk, sawdust, old oak, cider donuts, bath bombs, and cream.
Palate
Perfect and super drinkable at cask strength. Features citronella waxes, sweetened cereals, olive oil, green fruits, and a lightly waxy texture. Crushed orchard fruits, apple sauce, sawdust, freshly milled lumber, a kiss of salt, chalk, pepper, and oaky vanilla.
Finish
Medium in length, warming with green and orchard fruits, wood spice, hessian, and a slightly drying pastry dough character.
