Nose
A colourful collage of sea salt, dried kelp, pecorino romano, wasabi, rosemary, Assam tea, chamois leather, teak oil, pipe tobacco, and toasted marshmallows. It also presents vanilla essence, toasted oak, sea spray, brine, orange marmalade, a faint hint of Campbeltown funk, tobacco, wet pebbles, fish supper notes, golden syrup, turmeric, and lime juice.
Palate
Mirrors the nose with significant cask influence, showcasing vanilla essence, oak, candy floss, cooking apples, and simple syrup. A subtle Campbeltown character emerges with peppered mackerel and tobacco, alongside notes of hessian sacks of grain, dried apple rings, fresh crab, or smoked salmon.
Finish
Medium in length, with a synthetic sweetness and peppery spice lingering. It evolves to salted roast almonds and tannic notes of oak, hazelnut shells, and old tea pots.
