Released in 2021, this is the inaugural release of the distillery's annual Manager's Dram bottling. This 'sweet peated' whisky has been matured in a combination of American oak and European oak sherry casks. A Highland malt distillery and one of the oldest in Scotland, founded in 1763. Its modern history begins in 1959 when saved from closure by James Fairlie, and it is today owned by Glenturret H ...

Warm smouldering OAK EMBERS, entwine in a soft embrace with SWEET RIPE ORANGES, TOFFEE APPLE and a hint of DARK CHOCOLATE. Vibrant berries, candied orange, rich marzipan, freshly cracked black pepper, hint of black tea, charred oak warmth.
Palate
Warm CITRUS and RICH DRIED FRUITS, sweet smouldering HEATHER thickens in the mouth with a smooth velvety lingering finish. Bold red berries, creamy cheesecake, bitter almond, gingery spice, velvety texture.
Finish
Long and lingering. Honey and aged wood. Nutty bitterness.
