Nose
The nose starts quite gentle with peat, earthy scents, barley, grass, and licorice. It also presents red fruit jam (strawberry), candied orange, caramel, tamarind, chinotto, vegetal/mineral peat, buttery toast, and sweet flavored tobacco. With water, enchanting tropical notes emerge.
Palate
Sharp and spicy with barley, oak, grass, peat, and dirt, offering an earthy and sweet balance. It delivers a sensory sequence of flavors, a super oily and chewy body, with citrus notes of candied orange and chinotto, powerful tropical fruit, red apple, mineral/waxy and smoked peat, rhubarb, and tamarind.
Finish
Rich, still sharp but less so than the palate, with barley flavors, earthy notes, and a drying sensation. It is long and intense, featuring pipe tobacco, apple, tropicalia, wax, smoke, and fruit.
