Description

A legendary Japanese single malt whisky from Karuizawa, part of 'The Last Masterpieces in Eight Colours' series. This 4th Batch, distilled from 1999-2000 vintages, was matured in Sherry Butt casks and bottled at 48.5% ABV without chill filtration. The series is significant as it represents the final vintages from the original Karuizawa distillery, which was mothballed in 2000/2001. The label features calligraphy by renowned Japanese calligrapher Souun Takeda. This limited bottling was exclusively released for the Taiwanese market.
