This non-chill filtered whisky is matured in a variety of cask types, including ex-bourbon and a higher proportion of ex-sherry casks, resulting in a complex and rounded profile with tropical fruit notes. Palate
Warming and sweet with honey, vanilla, oak, fruity notes, malt, cinnamon, cloves, citrus, coconut, caramel, hazelnut, coffee beans, and a slight pleasant bitterness.
Finish
Long and warming, with persistent pepper spice, honey, vanilla, apples, soft spice, citrus zest, sweet malt, and a fairly astringent, drying grip from wood tannins.
