An Islay single malt from Lagavulin, distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1997, making it an 18-year-old expression. This is the first edition of Lagavulin's Distillers Edition series, double matured with a finish in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, adding richness and sweetness to the classic peated Islay character. It is a special and limited release.
