Nose
Burning wood. Straw. Grape flavouring. Charcoal. Earthy, almost muddy, peat. Volcanic ash. Matches. Wet asphalt on a hot day. Pine. A bit of a woody nut note. Cacao powder. With water a lot more wood, sap and tree bark.
Palate
Mineral peat. Rubber. More asphalt. Burning wood. Mesquite and hickory chips. Rich nuts. Pepper. Cayenne powder. A slight seaside note.
Finish
Long. Really fills the chest with a smokey feeling. Burned wood. Burned nuts, burned meat, burned everything.
