This Laphroaig 33 Year Old Ian Hunter Story Book 3: Source Protector is the third release in the Ian Hunter Series, celebrating the legacy of Ian Hunter, the last of the Johnston family to own and manage the Laphroaig Distillery. This expression commemorates Hunter's fight to protect the Kilbride Stream, the distillery's water source. Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2021, this 33-year-old single malt was matured exclusively in refill ex-Bourbon barrels. It is presented in a beautifully crafted book that documents this part of Ian Hunter's rich legacy.
