Nose
Very restrained, nutty sherry, with sea air, peat smoke, and subtle briny notes with hints of burning rubber and smoked fish. Sweet vanilla, oak, honey, and ripe red apples are also present.
Palate
Slightly sweeter, creamier, and more rounded with salty and sweet notes, subtle fruits, chalk, and a big blast of smoke. Hints of green grapes, rhubarb, dried apricots, lemon, and caramel.
Finish
Quick to disappear with lingering peat, nutty notes, and salt. Dry dust, chalky notes, and a balanced yet rich and oily texture, leading to leather and sawdust.
