Nose
Very creamy, vanilla custard. The smoke develops gradually, rather than overpowering the other aromas present. Toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruits appear over time. Salt and a leathery smokiness come to the fore in a maritime combination.
Palate
Incredibly well balanced; rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. The smoke is always present, washing over the palate in waves. Light and sweet with notes of green grapes and rhubarb. Earthy and mineral-driven, with pronounced peat smoke layered over vanilla and toasted marshmallow sweetness.
Finish
The gentle smoke lingers and lingers leaving you yearning for more. Salty smokiness returns, providing a deeply satisfying ending. Medium in length, peppery and warming with lingering hints of mineral-tinged, salted lemon.
