The Chinquapin and French oak cask details stand out, with oak also appearing alongside spice and dried fruit in the notes. That gives this a clear cask-led character, while the vanilla and toffee keep it approachable.

Nose: Burnt orange peel, crème brûlée, graham cracker, caramel, spice, ripe stone fruit, vanilla, and a hint of clove.Palate: Warm baking spices, cardamom, honeyed oak, cherry, vanilla, toffee, and a rye kick, with a viscous mouthfeel.Finish: Lingering spice, oak, chocolate, and dried fruits; described as substantial and long-lasting.
