Medium-bodied and rich with notes of sultanas, Oloroso sherry, lemon and orange peels, honeyed cigar box hints, requisite smoke, chocolate, oyster sauce, sea air, driftwood, sun-dried tomatoes, red liquorice, leather, dark chocolate, floral berries, grapefruit peel, gentle herbal malt, and toasty oak.
Palate
Full-bodied with notes of sherried peels, winter spice, crème de cacao, peppery oak, stewed red fruits (cherries, cranberries, strawberries), salt, tree bark, Angostura bitters, forest floor, wet rocks, bittersweet sherry, muddled fruit-y overtones, and an herbal malty fade.
Finish
Long and spicy with notes of walnut, salty melted butter, red fruits, earth, allspice, black pepper, oak, balanced malt, and pleasant herbal notes.
