Salt and earthy green peat, slightly medicinal, mossy, herbal notes, with soft fruits of lemon and melon, pepper, charred tobacco, ash, anise, smoked banana and pear, rye bread, sweet vanilla toffee, and a gentle breeze of aniseed.
Palate
Medium thickness, salty, peaty, oily, with herbal and spicy notes like toasty oak, dry rub barbecue, pepper, sharp spirit, mild jalapeno, melon, kiwi, aniseed, smoked toffee, sourdough biscuits, spiciness from rye whiskies, chocolate fudge, salt, sulphur, red fruits, and thick delicious vanilla.
Finish
Medium-long, sharp, and earthy, with strong peat, minerality, earth, pepper, anise, sharp citrus, oranges and bell peppers, sea spray, brazil nuts, and a lingering smoky, salty rye finish.
