Nose
Meaty malt with hints of smoky bacon crisps and honey-glazed ham, plus some floral brightness sneaking through. Manuka honey notes, sea spray, smoked meats and tarry ropes, garden herbs and gingerbread men.
Palate
Still savoury and meaty, though a touch of molasses sweetens it up a bit. Smoked brisket, barbecue sauce, liquorice root, dark chocolate and orange lollies.
Finish
Tangy BBQ sauce and toasted grains. Long, soft smoke, salted caramel and slightly herbal.
