Nose
Aromatic, toffee, fruit salad, lush nectarine, custard. Floral, apple blossom, honeysuckle. Apple peels, pear, touch of smoke. Hints of heather and peat. Sweet and rounded with creamy vanilla, honey, caramel, tangerine, caramelized banana, pineapple, and light smoke.
Palate
Malty. Walnuts steeped in manuka honey with vanilla sponge. Gentle smoke weaves its way through the cereal with a touch of spice. Smooth, soft and lasting flavours of heather-honey sweetness and vanilla followed by deeper citrus-fruit flavours and hints of malted bread. Dripping honey, clementines, peaches, vanilla, light oak, wispy candle smoke, and a little buttery olive oil.
Finish
Long, malty, walnut, almond. Long, lingering, surprisingly intense finish that starts sweetly, then gives way to smoke, peat and malt. Fairly light, less fruity, marshmallows lightly toasted over a campfire, more honey and a little maple syrup.
