Description
This limited edition 8-year-old Lagavulin was released in 2016 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary, which was founded in 1816. It was inspired by whisky writer Alfred Barnard's visit in the 1880s, where he described an 8-year-old Lagavulin as 'exceptionally fine.' Bottled at 48% ABV, it delivers a bold, smoky, and peaty profile, matured in refill European and American oak casks.
