Nose
Very rich and musty, with notes of mushrooms, moss, moldy lemons and oranges, minerality, earthy petrichor, subtle peat smoke, and dirty, rotten wood. Sweet peat smoke and maritime notes, reminiscent of smoked mussels and cured meats, balanced with apricot and peach.
Palate
Medium mouthfeel, soft and subtle, balanced with mossy and earthy character, light to medium peat smoke, old polished oak, coal, dusty leather, and soft herbal notes. Robust peat influence with coastal characteristics, seaweed, samphire, and sweet berries.
Finish
Sweet vanilla, returning mushrooms, damp earthy flavors, mossy wood, salty sea water, and tart lemons. Delicate, creamy with notes of raspberries, caramelised butter, cranachan, and prolonged peat smoke.
