Description

Daftmill is a farm distillery owned and operated by the Cuthbert family, located in the heart of Fife. It operates only during the farm's quiet periods, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. This 2005 Inaugural Release is the distillery's first bottling, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2018, drawn from first-fill bourbon casks. The barley used is Chariot barley, grown on the Daftmill farm itself.

Fresh and inviting with green apple, barley sugar, vanilla, lemon zest, blossom honey, honeycomb, and a hint of chocolate and nutmeg.
Palate
Light-bodied and complex, with crisp pear, buttered scone, toasted oak, malt sweetness, citrus oils, white stone fruits, lemon rind, and a touch of mint and white pepper.
Finish
