Nose
Sweet and plush with coconut water, peaches, yellow plums, orange zest, and banana. Notes of vanilla pastry cream, toffee, and lightly-toasted marshmallow, with hints of eucalyptus, fragrant wood, and a funky briny flavour. Also described as sharp and pungent, with an unusual stale oakiness, a hint of sulphur, and maritime notes.
Palate
Medium-thick texture with peach pie, savoury notes like bonito flake or miso, malted barley, mushrooms, mint, wool, green wood, tobacco, eucalyptus, metal, and oak. Bitter orange and green coconuts, vanilla, and char. Described as rich and full-bodied with a torrent of spices, pepper, chocolate, banana, vanilla, nuts, and malt.
Finish
Savouriness lifts, rounding into oak, vanilla, and creamy chocolate, with a bit of seaweed. Lingering powdered sugar, lemon zest, yellow plums, coconut water, black pepper, and chalk. Medium long, stale, watery, with slight bitter notes of salt, pepper, and ginger.
