Big hit of sherry, rich and syrupy with notes of raisins, treacle, marmite, berries & cherries soaking in booze, a little spice, old oak, pencil shavings, stewed tea and burnt raisins.
Palate
Medium-dry sherry, raisins, alcohol-soaked boiled pudding, dry, cinnamon and nutmeg spiced old oak with heavy tannins and burnt sultana fruit, thick and creamy with cherry, plums, papaya, dark chocolate and sweet cinnamon.
Finish
Chilli heat, rich & dry sherry, a hint of malt, dry oak and lingering burnt dried fruit and spice.
